Your lightbox

Your lightbox is the photo library's equivalent of a shopping basket, just put into your lightbox the photos that you wish to download. If you are logged in, you can also save the contents of your lightbox so that you can download the photos at a later stage (perhaps on a quicker internet connection). Photos can always be reviewed or removed from the lightbox. When you are ready to download the photos you have selected, you simply click on the download button. 

All of the photos are stored in a ZIP file - this is a standard archive that will contain all of the photos you've selected in just one file, making downloading simpler and quicker. In order to open ZIP files, you will need a piece of software like WinZip (on a Windows computer) or Stuffit (on a Mac). Windows XP can open ZIP files automatically, so nothing further is needed there, and the unzip tool is standard on Un*x platforms.

If you're using Internet Explorer 5 on a Mac, please save the file with the filename lightbox.zip rather than the default of dl.php - there is an non-standard issue with this software that makes it difficult to view the photos otherwise. When you've saved the file, now called lightbox.zip, double-clicking on it will produce your photos.
